An aero-mobile hospital of the “Centrospas” Emergency Response Team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation was deployed after the devastating blast at the port in Beirut. All the equipment, specialists and a laboratory needed to receive the wounded and to test them for COVID-19 were delivered to the region affected by the blast by five aircrafts. At the present moment, the hospital is on the point of completing installation of the medical equipment, as the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation informed RIA News Agency.
The DIG-360 mobile X-ray machines manufactured by “NOELSI” Company, which were brought to Beirut along with other medical equipment, are invaluable when it comes to providing medical aid in emergencies. Thanks to the low power consumption, the machines are connectable to mobile electricity generators and can be used to perform field radiological studies.
“Centrospas” Emergency Response Team Hospital accommodates 50 beds and includes resuscitation, surgical, consultative and diagnostic units. Further, the specialists are looking to equip a 6 to 10 bed intensive care unit. The hospital can operate autonomously during 14 days.
